I made this cake for a little girl's birthday. She loves Wizard of Oz! The cake was vanilla cream with buttercream frosting. The backboard is cardboard, which I colored, then covered in clear cellophane. The yellow brick road was fondant, with a brick imprint. The ruby slippers are made from fondant, brushed with luster dust to make them sparkly. I really loved this cake!
